Instructor-Miss Rachael

Rachael Pilarski has been dancing consistently since she was 9 years old and has
always had a passion for dance. Over the course of eleven years, she has studied ballet, pointe,
partnering, jazz, contemporary, modern, and musical theatre. She has been a student at Civic
Dance Center since 2014, so the majority of her dance education has been under the instruction
of Ms. Natalie Kolosci and Ms. Lisa Mulligan. She has also attended the St. Louis Ballet School
Summer Program in 2017 and 2018 where she learned variations from Sleeping Beauty,
Raymonda, and Graduation Ball, in addition to technique training in a variety of styles.
Rachael graduated from Chesterton High School in 2019 where she was a part of the
International Baccalaureate program. Over the last few years, she has volunteered for all kinds
of community events. She was also a camp counselor at the Duneland YMCA for the summer of
2019.

Rachael attended Ball State University in Muncie, IN for her freshman year of college,
where she double majored in Dance and Pre-Physical Therapy. Currently, she is attending
Indiana University Northwest where she will now be majoring in Dental Hygiene.

In addition to taking classes with Ms. Natalie, she is beginning her teaching journey with
Civic Dance Center this fall and is so excited to make a positive impact on her students!
